From March 2007, wine-journal.com became part of Robert Parker's website www.erobertparker.com (eRP) and I accepted a position as his "Critic-at-large". Essentially this has opened up a whole new, exciting horizon in terms of tasting wines, visiting wine growers and recommending obscure music every month, whilst retaining complete and absolute editorial control.
For those sceptics convinced that Baltimore's most famous Neil Young fan is leaning over my shoulder and "cramping" my style, I have uploaded an article recounting a vertical of Château Palmer (1961-2004) that I composed for eRP that can be accessed by clicking here so that you can see for yourself that Wine-Journal's soul remains intact.
The entire content is being transferred to its new home, ad verbatim minus spelling mistakes and the spirit and soul of wine-journal continues to flourish. Wine-Journal remains independant from other sections of eRP and by subscribing to eRP, members can access my sub-site as well as articles written by other contributors such as David Schildknecht, Antonio Gallioni and of course, Robert Parker. Members can also access my own forum.
